About “The Advisor Project:”
As I continue to transition into financial planning, I collect a lot of information on the industry (trends, designations, etc.) that, until I created this blog, has just sat in my note-taking software (OneNote). I thought posting the content might serve as an additional resource for other newcomers (whether young financial advisors or career-changers).

About Me:
I currently work as a paraplanner (remotely) for Outsourced Planning, LLC where I create comprehensive financial plans in financial planning software for our advisor-clients. I passed the CFP® examination (March 2021) after completing the educational requirements of the CFP® program through New York University’s financial planning certificate program.

I have also passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst® program, studied law at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and earned my Bachelor of Science in business management from Miami University (Ohio). I am also a member of the Central Ohio Financial Planning Association.

Personal Background:
Outside of the office, I enjoy volunteering for Junior Achievement®, a program dedicated towards helping young people learn about their communities and personal finance. I also serve as the Vice President of Public Relations for my local Toastmasters chapter. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, golfing, and following college football.
